    Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Rosettes of semi-evergreen, narrow leaves that point skyward are topped with 24-32” stems of nodding clusters of reddish-purple bells with notched petals in summer sprinkled with a fairy dusting of silver farina. Sun to part shade in organic, consistently moist to boggy soils. Self-seeds to create a nice colony. From China, Sichuan, Yunnan, high elevation wet meadows. Elegant!
