Baptisia 'Golden Anniversary' is the first false indigo with golden yellow foliage! In early summer, contrasting and strikingly beautiful indigo blue flowers emerge on yellow stems that rise up just above the foliage. Plants have a compact habit up to 36 inches tall and wide. Baptisia are long-lived lupin relatives that will thrive with little maintenance and are tolerant of a wide range of soils from rich borders to to dry and marginal conditions. However, they dislike being moved once established.
