Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of the variable forms of the species. This species has many synonyms and more than it's share of controversial varieties and subspecies. The variations are linked to other forms by populations of plants with intermediate characteristics. Which is to say, we don't know what the final name will turn out to be, but it's nice anyway!
