Wooly leafed evergreen shrub a hybrid between two Mediterranean species - to 5 x 5 ft -- gray-green leaves are long and narrow with slightly rolled edges. Whorls of butter yellow flowers each capped with an orange calyx on upright stems late spring into summer, cheerful and unusual for the genus. A great addition to summer-dry plantings. Full sun to light shade with little to no summer water once established. Gritty well drained soils.
