Funnel-shaped, 1/2 inch long flowers can be purple, dark violet, or pinky purple and occur in small trusses of 2 or 3. The small leaves are oblong with glossy scales. Now considered to be a natural hybrid of R. flavidum x R. impeditum. Native to Szechwan and growing upwards to 11,000 feet. Does well in low elevations too!
