Nursery contributed plant descriptions

An unusual and attractive dwarf plum yew named by John Shnoenfeld of Yucca Do nursery, a selected seedling from the now John Fairey garden in the early 80's. Spreading arching stems 4ft tall x 6ft. wide in time are clothed in deep glossy green two-ranked leaves distinctively curled under giving the appearance of a giant club moss. Choice and slow growing, this plant is an outstanding shade container, under story or woodland plant. Dappled shade to at least afternoon shade in well drained soil. Tolerant of periodic drought when established. USDA zone 6.
