A Cistus introduction. Our first and still among the best of this fairly rare species from almost exactly the border of Del Norte Co. CA. and Curry Co. OR.; this clone grows to about 6 feet tall and wide with matte green leaves, chocolate to pumpkin orange bark and pearl flowers anywhere from late September to February. Well drained soil, tolerant of occasional summer irrigation, full to partial sun. Cold hardy to zone 7b.
