A Cistus introduction. Our collection from the west slopes of southern Oregon's Vulcan Peak. A rounded shrub to only 4 to 6 feet with densely held silvery-blue leaves lightly covered with a silky fur. Early to late winter single or one branched pearl colored flowers attracting a myriad of native pollinators. Beautiful cinnamon colored bark as well. This was growing in the bottom of a water collecting arroyo not exhibiting any disease in habitat or in cultivation. USDA zone 7, keep dry in summer.
