A 2011 Cistus Nursery introduction. This natural hybrid, one of many occurring on the lahars, on the west side of Mt. Hood Oregon, grows to only 18" to 2' in height spreading 5 to 6 feet in time, gracefully weeping if near the edge of... something. Grey-green leaves to only about 1/2 inch, dense but allowing attractive orange bark to show. Pearl colored flowers sometimes as early as December. Full sun to dappled shade in mineral well drained soil. Possible hardiness to USDA zone 6.
