Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Hydrangea paniculata Little Lime Punch is a stunning compact cultivar offering shades of lime green, ivory white, glowing pink, raspberry red, and wine red as the flowers age. Plants will often present all of these colours at once as plants rebloom through the summer and fall. Plants reach 3-5 feet high and wide. Excellent for drier areas. Don’t forget to cut some for a dried flower display in autumn. Paniculatas are super hardy, bloom on new wood, are fragrant, and make good dried flowers. Cultivar name: 'Smnhph'.
Little Lime Punch blooms emerge lime green and age progressively from the bottom up in a gorgeous array of white, light pink, and rich Hawaiian Punch red. As it reblooms throughout the summer, you'll see these four colors mix to create a truly memorable show. With a compact habit and strong stems, you'll find that it's as useful in the landscape as it is beautiful. 3-5 ft. tall and wide at maturity. Plant in part sun (4+ hours daily) in southern climates and part to full sun in northern climates. Care:To prune, simply cut back by 1/3 of its total height every spring.
