Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Hairy Wattle? Probably would have gone with Velvet Wattle myself. Common names aside, this is a wonderful, mid-sized Acacia for urban gardens. The weeping habit is graceful and although the leaves (or phyllodes to be accurate) resembles the blade of a saw, they’re actually super soft to the touch. This is a hardy plant, perfectly adapted to life in our summer-dry climate. The mother plant here at the nursery does just fine with a few deep waterings during the summer and nothing for the rest of the year.
