Long-leaf sugarbush… I’m guessing the common name for this character was thought up at 4:59 on a Friday afternoon . A relatively fast-growing protea, relativley speaking, it’s easily identifiable due to the black beak at the center of the flower. This one really appreciates a pruning after flowering to avoid any lankiness on those long-leafed branches.
