It's nice to be surprised when the (middle of winter) random seed purchase turns out to be something cool. Many of the newer hybridized Acrtotis are well behaved, low-growing types. This character is a bit more rowdy, doesn’t care if you don’t think its leaves conform to “foliar best practices” and holds its own in a garden full of boof-headed Grevilleas and show pony Proteas… and that’s just fine with me.
