Mammillaria hernandezii is an evergreen cactus / succulent with green and white foliage. In fall pink flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Grows well with bright shade and low water. Does well in gritty and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.
Miniature growing. A real gem. And the flowers (in late Summer and Fall when the other stuff is all through) are very nice! (Don't count on a large plant. They're small by nature.) Large (1 inch) fuschia-red flowers on a miniature plant (matures at 1.5 inches). A real gem.
