Aloe 'Malibu Peach' is an evergreen cactus / succulent with green and pink foliage. In winter cream flowers emerge. Grows well with sun and low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in gritty, rocky and well-drained soil.
Aloe 'Malibu Peach' is a succulent native to South Africa, showcasing dense, shrubby growth reaching heights and widths of 4-5 feet. Its rosettes of pale green leaves tinged with red measure around 18 inches wide. During late fall through mid-winter, it produces unbranched stems bearing peach-colored buds that unfold into creamy flowers. Thriving in full to part sun and well-drained soil, it requires occasional to infrequent irrigation and is drought-tolerant and deer-resistant. Discovered along the Malibu coast in California, its exact lineage remains unknown but resembles Aloe arborescens. 'Malibu Peach' is named for its peach-colored flowers and Malibu origin, embodying elegance and charm. With low water requirements and estimated frost tolerance between 25-30°F, it is suitable for USDA zones 9-11. This aloe serves as a focal point in rock gardens, borders, and containers, particularly during the winter bloom season.
