Aloe capitata var. quarziticola is an evergreen cactus / succulent with apricot, blue and burgundy foliage. In spring and winter orange and yellow flowers emerge. Attracts hummingbirds. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in gritty, rocky and well-drained soil.
?Aloe capitata var. quartziticola has Compact, stemless rosette with 2" wide, blushed gray-green leaves, edged in red with small brown teeth. Mid-winter brings 3' tall inflorescences topped with orange-yellow bell-shaped flowers. Hardy to 25°F, thrives in well-drained soil under full to part sun. Originates from Madagascar's Central Highlands on quartzite soils.
This plant has been grown in a 1 ga pot. You will receive a very similar plant to the one in the picture. The plant is shipped "dry root" (without soil).
