Nursery contributed plant descriptions

"Fair Oaks" has been around since 1986. It is a deeper, more vibrant pink than "Orchid Pink," but both are similar in growing habit and both have violet central striations and a good scent. To be perfectly honest, I see little difference between "Fair Oaks" and "Orchid Pink." Often "Fair Oaks" will have deeper pink blooms and pale orchid blooms on the same plant and vice versa. It could be they both originated the same way years apart at separate nurseries, but that's only a guess. My suggestion is to buy one or the other, not both, unless you just want to have one of each like me. (Canyon Creek Nursery, 1986)
