Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Believed to have originated in France, "Empress Augusta" is a lovely pale lavender/blue. It is similar to "Colombine" in that it has a white center and the color is similar, although "Empress Augusta" leans more toward violet than blue. Unlike most of the other violets offered here, it is clump forming. And, again, like Colombine, it is a violet that you are not likely to confuse with any other.
