Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This is a new violet for 2024, and this is its first bloom. Sometimes violets need a bit of time to come into their own, but "Ada Segre" is supposed to have large blooms, which it does right now, and those fragrant blooms are supposed to be blue and on long stems, and they are. I'd say we're pretty close to its right color, but time will tell. "Ada Segre" is a French violet and one I'm happy to welcome into the fold. (Nathalie Casbas, France, 2000)
