Aloe acutissima is an evergreen cactus / succulent with blue, purple and white foliage. In winter coral, orange and salmon flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Attracts beneficial insects and hummingbirds. Grows well with sun - bright shade and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter. Does well in gritty and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

Aloe acutissima is an attractive aloe from Madagascar with interesting foliage colors and winter flowers that does well in the ground or in larger pots. This is a shrubby, fast growing species which can fill an area in a few years, after which it slowly spreads in all directions.

Best when planted in groups of three or more to fully appreciate striking lilac foliage.
