Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Aloe rivierei, native to Yemen and Saudi Arabia, thrives on rocky cliffs and slopes, forming large clumps through prolific offsetting. This shrubby, branching aloe features bright yellow-green, upright rosettes on stalks, with spotted leaves in younger branches and immaculate leaves in mature ones. Its light, bright green leaves have large whitish marginal teeth, resembling cuts from pinking shears. Flowering in winter, its orange-red flowers with yellow mouths adorn compactly conical inflorescences. Little is known about its cold hardiness, but it likely withstands temperatures down to 25°F. Aloe rivierei adapts well to both full sun and partial shade, making it suitable for garden hillsides and slopes in various conditions.

A perfect gift for the plant collector.
