Lithops karasmontana is an evergreen cactus / succulent with blue and green foliage. In fall white flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry when dormant. Does well in well-drained soil.

Cole accepts three subspecies: karasmontana, bella and eberlanzii and four varieties of L. karasmontana: aiaisensis, lericheana and tischeri. This explains the following three groups of L. karasmontana plants in our listing, plants which have been available in the trade as varieties but which are now reduced to synonomy.
