This South American clumping bamboo with upright culms adorned with blue green leaves and cream to mustard yellow stems, has been a suburb garden plant. With the original plants flowering, we have multiple seedling with similar predictable traits. Upright then arching to about 12 to 15 ft. make for what appears like a giant fern. Sun to shade, one of the few summer drought tolerant bamboos. Suitable for either container or garden. Great screening/hedge or specimen plant. Most soils save for standing winter water. USDA zone 8a.
