These seedlings from a place that has featured many great forms of this plant with particularly silvery furry and reflective leaves Tahema Co. California where recent fires have cleared our favorite propagation sources for the species. While varied in form, all beautiful and easy to grow unless your garden has frequent fires. 4 to 6 ft in height with rounded form, cinnamon colored bark and pearly pink flowers mid to late winter, fruit in autumn are glossy cinnamon match with the bark. For full sun, lean well drained soil and minimal summer water once established. USDA 7b if not colder.
