Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Haworthia venosa subsp. tessalata is a beautiful succulent with long, triangular leaves coming to sharp points whose surface is grey-green with a distinctive, white, squared netting. In full sun or with drought stress plants can become an attractive brown with white netting. Haworthia are easy to grow and quite cold tolerant.
Tender. Fleshy,triangular leaves brownish green.
Native to South Africa, the Star Window Plant forms a nice small rosette usually less than 6" tall. The thick, pale green triangular leaves have semi-transparent spots on the upper surface and are filled with a translucent jelly similar to Aloe Vera. Haworthia sends out many young offsets around the mother plant. Small white flowers form on 12" spikes over the summer months. Succulents are drought-tolerant plants. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. For best results, grow in cactus soil in a terracotta pot with good drainage.
Beutifully marked triangular leaves.
