Quercus phillyreoides is a broadleaf evergreen tree with green foliage. In spring chartreuse and green flowers emerge followed by brown fruit. Graceful smaller oak from Japan and parts of China to only 25 ft or so, larger with great age. Upright rounded crown, rich 2-3" evergreen leaves and silvery-gray bark. A tougher species than some, hardy certainly to USDA zone 7 possibly upper zone 6. Somewhat drought tolerant though prefers some water in summer dry climates. Particularly useful as small street tree or close to gray infrastructure.
