Nursery contributed plant descriptions

New Wood Bloomer with deep pigments! This is a new plant for us with dark red stems we found at the grocery store several years ago in the 'save me' section with no tag. It has bloomed well for us on the old wood as well as the new. Compact nature with strong stems and leaves will hold up large and very colorful blooms. Flower color is very dependent on the pH (shown pink here) but we're excited to see the rich purple it may become. Great disease resistance and serrated foliage are super interesting.
