Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Narrow, pointy leaves in 6-8” tall clumps that grow in winter, spring brings six-petaled white fairy flowers. Slipping into dormancy after bloom, they need no summer/fall water making this South African perfect for a summer dry climate. We plant ours with naturalizing species tulips since they enjoy the same hot, dry summer spots in well drained soils (sun to part shade). They will seed around but never be pesky. Happy in rock gardens and containers too.
