Hamamelis x intermedia 'Aphrodite' is a broadleaf deciduous shrub or tree with green foliage. In fall, spring and winter bronze, orange and red flowers emerge. Attracts bees and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture - occasional water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil.

All hamamelis listed by Gossler Farms in the Fall/Spring 2024/2025 catalog are hardy to at least -12° in their Springfield, Oregon garden, and all are grafted plants.
You will love the large and fragrant crop of 1" long twisted deep burnt-orange flowers produced by this 8-12' shrub very early in spring, fine red autumn color as well. S-PSh/M
Flowers are abundant (January and February) and coppery on this vigorous shrub. Slightly fragrant. Zone 6.
