Shared with us by the plantsman of the same name, this selection from a vast area of hybrid swarms in SE Utah has a tight clumping habit to only about 6-8" in height, 18" or so wide in a few years. Grey-green pads tipped with golden to brown spines and yellow darker centered flowers, usually mid to late spring. The texture and color of the pads are the most striking aspect. Sun, decent drainage. Easy. USDA zone 4.
