This New Zealander grows into a 4 to 6 foot shrub of fine texture and upright habit, larger in time and with encouragement. Rice grain sized leaves slightly golden on the underside make for a soft texture in the garden. Small white coconut-scented flowers appear in spring at branch tips. For a sunny spot that receives at least regular summer water and has decent drainage, otherwise care free. Frost hardy to 10ºF. the bottom of USDA zone 8.
