This more heat tolerant (but still hates the heat) Wasabi is edible and delicious! Grow it in the shade in rich, moist, draining soil. Rounded leaves create clumps about 18” high and wide. Also good in pots (at least 10”); stems and leaves are edible, rhizome takes about 2 years to mature.
