Eriosyce occulta plant details

Eriosyce occulta is an evergreen cactus / succulent with burgundy foliage. In spring white flowers emerge followed by red fruit. Features glaucous texture. Grows well with sun - bright shade and low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in gritty and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

Small maroon plant with a tuberous root. Spination varies in the species, but these are mostly spineless. Frost tolerant but sensitive to over watering. An impressive little plant from Northern Chile, E. occulta has a tuberous root and needs excellent drainage and care with watering. Spination varies and plant color vary considerably, but ours are essentially spineless and have a darker plant body color. Large white flower.
