Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Ready for a night on the town with their favorite lipstick! Larger than normal rosettes of pointed, fleshy leaves, waxy green marked dark red on the tips and edges, accentuated by drought stress. 1 ft tall x up to 10" wide, larger than most. Summer flowers are pink on nodding stems. Sun is best with occasional water, allowing pots to dry out some before adding moisture. Frost hardy to 20F, USDA zone 9, so best in container where temperatures drop below.
Red tipped green leaves. Tall stalks of yellow bell shaped flowers in late winter early spring.
Vivid red leaf margins look like bright red lipstick on the green leaves. The compact rosette grows 6" tall by 8" wide and many young 'pup" plants will form around the mother. It makes an attractive succulent for a container planting or rock garden in warmer zones.
Lighter green bodies with bright red edges. With adequate light they keep the red edge to the leaves all through the seasons.
