'Black Knight' forms a medium sized rosette of lanceolate (lance-like, narrow and pointed, hence the cultivar name), dark burgundy, succulent leaves. Echeverias are perennial succulents mainly from Mexico but also occuring in adjacent countries. There are over 150 different species and countless fantastic cultivars.

The "punk hair" type of the black Echeveria species. Sharp pointed, narower leaves and upright beautiful red flowers. A hybrid of Echeveria affinis of unknown origin, apparently a self-sown seedling. Distinguished from 'Black Prince' by it's narrower and longer leaves.
