Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Hurray for Hollywood! This fabulous tree gives you the best of both worlds! Highly ornamental tree to 15-25' with bronzy-purple leaves and soft-pink blooms in spring which is also very productive with its crop of juicy red-fleshed plums (fruit is larger if thinned to one fruit every 6"). its beautiful branch structure gives it wonderful winter interest as well. This cultivar is not self-fertile, 'Santa Rosa' and 'Italian' Plum are good pollinizers; low chill hour requirement of 300-400 hours. S/M
