Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This lovely cultivar is very early blooming, with bright-white and deliciously fragrant single flowers. One of the better varieties if you are trying to produce fruit, the apricots are ¾" to 1" and are perfect for Umeboshi or making plum wine. These make beautiful ornamental trees as well, eventually becoming a very graceful specimen 16- 20' tall and wide. Produces better crops with another variety for cross pollination; 'Bongo' is a great choice! S/M
