Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This is a relatively new introduction, this is a monotypic species of the Apocynaceae family. The color of the plant will change rather quickly from green to a dark brownish color when exposed to bright light. The flowers are maroon with a white throat. This is a relatively recent discovery. Described in 2000 and from the northwestern corner of Namibia in the Baynes Mountains.
