Mulberry is a broadleaf deciduous fruit / vegetable or tree with green foliage. In spring green flowers emerge followed by black, purple and red fruit. Attracts bees, birds and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant, humidity tolerant, pollution tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.
