Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This is a very exciting and unusual Magnolia! A cross between M. hypoleuca (Japanese) and M.virginiana (American); this unusual parentage allows this 25' tree to thrive in a wide range of conditions from cold winters to long hot summers; large (6") creamy-white flowers in late spring have pretty wine colored stamens and a delicious light lemon scent.
