Lonicera hirsuta is a broadleaf deciduous groundcover vine with green foliage. In spring and summer orange and yellow flowers emerge followed by red fruit. Attracts bees, birds, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in alkaline, average, gritty, rocky and well-drained soil.
