Aloe harlana is an evergreen cactus / succulent with green, variegated and white foliage. In summer pink flowers emerge. Attracts beneficial insects and hummingbirds. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter. Does well in gritty, lean, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.
Aloe harlana is a stemless, evergreen succulent with a striking aesthetic. Its flat, wide dark green leaves are semi-glossy and marked with white to lime stripes in an attractive linear pattern. Growing up to 3 feet tall, this slow-growing plant features brown teeth and a short stem rarely producing offsets. Its conical racemes of red-orange or yellow flowers emerge in spring on a 2 to 3 foot bloom stalk.
