Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Leathery with fuzzy undersides the grey-green leaves on this multi-trunked rounded shrub (to 9'x9') make an excellent backdrop for its silvery pendent catkins (more evident on male plants, ours are unsexed). Native to the California coastal chapparel, it makes a nice addition to the native/dryland garden. S/M-D-GDr
