Cercis siliquastrum is a broadleaf deciduous tree with green foliage. In spring pink flowers emerge followed by brown and purple fruit. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular water. Does well in alkaline, average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.
