Extend the season with this early ripening cultivar which was selected in the wild in Michigan. 5-10 ounce custardy yellow-fruit are of excellent quality and are said to have notes of vanilla, perfect for fresh eating, pies or ice cream. This 15-30' foot tree is pretty too, large almost tropical looking foliage is glossy-green and turns golden yellow in autumn. Perfect for edible landscaping; needs another variety for fruit set.
