    Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Tiny leaves form a compact, rapidly spreading, beautiful 4-6" high mat of lush bright-green, it is especially gorgeous when covered in spring-to summer with bright lilac-blue spikes, a great choice for shady banks, slopes, under shade trees or between stepping stones; a useful and very easy-going groundcover that is also deer and rabbit resistant; can handle light foot traffic too!
