Aesculus sylvatica is a broadleaf deciduous shrub with green foliage. In spring apricot, coral, cream, pink, red, salmon and yellow flowers emerge followed by brown fruit. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something humidity tolerant.
