Fine textured foliaged forming a clump only a few inches high covered pretty much constantly with large bright yellow flowers. See pictures of this growing in places like Denver, and you will be forgiven if you drool on your key board. Here, it is a bit looser in growth, but still quite lovely. Very cold hardy, zone 4, by some accounts, but not reliably perennial here due to winter wet.
