Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Neoregelia ‘Wine and Gold’ is a large Bromeliad with colorful, broad, stiff, arching leaves forming an upright rosette. Beautiful wine red leaves are dramatically speckled with gold and green. Leaves mature to a speckled olive green. Epiphytic Bromeliads prefer a well-drained, moist sphagnum soil with regular watering and high humidity. Apply a slow release fertilizer in Spring when active growth starts. Slow growing, it will form a colony by offsetting pups. A beautiful accent plant for the home in containers. Protect from frost!
