Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Toughest lacecap Our specimen plants have been through the wringer here at the nursery. I acquired them in 2015 and they have been neglected and ignored. I think we lost them twice! This is a vigorous plant that came from the garden of Dr. JC McDaniel at the University of Illinois and is named for his wife. Friends of Mary Nell preserved the plants and shared them as much as possible. We are honored to grow this beautiful plant. Very limited supply!
